Spill Forward 2010
Spill Forward is a three-channel video that deals directly with the atrocities of British Petroleum’s Deepwater Oil Spill of 2010.
The immersive abstract experience is a meditation, investigating the delicate equilibrium of nature and man. Reflecting on the dangerous thirst for resources, I investigate the consequences of systemic ecological violations and the blurred line that is the commodification of our Earth. The BP oil spill epitomizes humanities footprint and the ultimate disruption of balance in the global system.
